CSFL updates 2016 Schedule

The Collegiate Sprint Football League has updated the schedule for the 2016 season after the announcement that Princeton will discontinue its program. The season will still begin Sept. 16 when Chestnut Hill visits Army West Point. The schedule will take place over eight weeks beginning the weekend of Sept. 16-17 and concluding the weekend of Nov. 4-6. Each team will have at least one bye week during the regular season. Chestnut Hill, which played its inaugural season in 2015 and did not count towards the league standings, will be a full member in 2016 with all games counting towards the standings that will determine the league's champion. PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton University has announced its decision to discontinue the sprint football program, effective in the spring of 2016. With the Tigers' decision to eliminate the sprint football program from their varsity athletics offerings, the Collegiate Sprint Football League will feature eight members for the 2016 season instead of nine.
